Brian Parker is the Head of Safety and Technical at the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). He has over 27 years of experience in the powered access industry, specializing in training, safety, and technical operations. His career also includes service in the British Armed Forces with the Royal Engineers, where he worked as a Plant Operator Mechanic.

Brian is an active member of various BSI, ISO, and CEN committees, and currently serves as the convenor of both the IPAF International Safety Committee and the IPAF Manufacturers’ Technical Committee.

IPAF is dedicated to promoting the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide. This is achieved through the provision of technical guidance, influencing and interpreting safety legislation and standards, and delivering safety campaigns and training programs globally.
